With the majority of our operational funding coming directly from donors, we rely on your support to provide critical programs and services for pets in the North Central region of Washington State. As non-profit organization, all gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Firehouse Pet Shop
The fine folks at Firehouse Pet Shop in Wenatchee are wonderful Okandogs supporters and we encourage shopping at local, independently owned stores. If you would like to purchase some food, toys or treats to donate, Firehouse is generously offering a 15% discount on those items being donated to Okandogs and they will make sure that the donation gets delivered (our wish list is available at the store). A big thanks to this local pet supply store for all that they do to help the dogs!

Gifts of Stock
If you're planning on making a donation to Okandogs, think about looking through your portfolio! There are beneficial tax advantages to making a charitable gift of appreciated securities as opposed to a gift of cash.
If you donate stock that has appreciated for more than a year, you avoid paying capital gains tax and you can claim a charitable tax deduction on the fair market value of the donated shares.
